In a world where kindness and compassion are often overlooked, Pratima Devi, an 80-year-old woman from Delhi, is a shining example of selflessness and dedication. Despite living a life of poverty, Pratima Devi has been feeding and caring for over 400 stray dogs for the past 30 years. Pratima Devi, is originally from Kolkata, West Bengal. She has been living in Delhi for many years and has made the city her home.

Currently, Pratima Devi resides in a shelter in Saket, South Delhi, where she collects garbage and also runs a small tea shop to make ends meet.

Pratima Devi's day begins early, as she sets out to collect garbage from the streets to make ends meet. However, her true passion lies in caring for the stray dogs that roam the streets of Delhi. She feeds them, tends to their wounds, and provides them with love and affection. Her selfless act has earned her the respect and admiration of the community, who affectionately call her "Dog Amma" or "Delhi Dog Lady."

Despite the challenges she faces, Pratima Devi remains committed to her cause. She has been recognized for her work by animal welfare organizations and has received awards for her dedication to animal care. However, for Pratima Devi, the true reward is the love and companionship she receives from the dogs she cares for.
