Good to hear this from an industry veteran like you Sandeep Ravindran. I saw this coming almost 7 years back and hence www.conektr.com in UAE now. But still I see many, including senior managers are not ready to embrace the change. Avg. CTC per retailer order in lower trade is over AED100 for most of the suppliers now. Brands could use Conektr to get the same at 50% cost. We are covering 8000+ groceries in UAE. In FMCG single digit growth or single digit cost cut is almost an unrealistic target without this disruption is my humble view on this. Cutting traffic and carbon footprint is the bonus as a CSR!
