The Magic Behind The Story
The story focuses on Maggie and Sol, who are both 7 years old. When Maggie wakes up after a night of fantastical space adventures, she is back in hospital next to her bird-loving friend, Sol. It's raining, but she is determined that they'll make it out into the garden, and maybe even find Sol's incredible bird.
With the help of family and friends, and Maggie's sparkling imagination, they eventually set out on their long journey. And in the garden, they find that reality can be even more beautiful than fantasy...
A powerful story, set in a children's hospital, that is all about imagination, friendship and hope.
