Since its inception at COP26 in 2021, it has grown into a 99-member strong alliance of top global corporations, a strategic force aimed at thrusting emerging clean energy technologies into the mainstream.
Armed with an ingenious strategy, the coalition leverages the substantial purchasing power of major businesses in heavy-emitting sectors to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative decarbonisation solutions. Instead of relying on market shifts and policy changes, its members actively create demand for sustainable alternatives, reshaping the economic landscape from within.

As a pioneering signatory of the First Movers Coalition, RMZ’s sector-specific commitment entails the reduction in the volume of the cement and concrete procured for our real estate projects by 10% per year, near-zero carbon cement/concrete inclusive of any SCM’s by 2030, and excluding fossil based SCM’s by 2035.

Driven by our commitment to renewable, clean energy technologies and in tandem with India’s revolutionary charge in solar power adoption, we inaugurated solar panel installations at our latest development in Bengaluru in May of this year. RMZ Ecoworld 30, in collaboration with Booking Holdings and Waters Corporation, marked a progressive step in scaling renewable energy infrastructure within commercial real estate developments.
