Unspoken Smiles Fellowship: Creating Jobs and Saving Communities.
One of the vital ways in which we are able to implement sustainable education and disease prevention in under-served communities is through the Unspoken Smiles Fellowship program. Through the fellowship we are able to provide a solution to the inadequate access to viable career and earning opportunities for young women in developing countries.
These new jobs help in three big ways:
- Allows more widespread oral health education, and puts more trained individuals able to perform oral hygiene and oral cancer assessments, as well as dental cleanings within the communities.
- More individuals armed with knowledge means raising awareness for oral health within the communities.
- The young women are empowered and able to make a positive impact in the economic development of their community.
As the Unspoken Smiles Fellowship grows these young women will not just be impacting their individual families and communities, but their countries as well. Programs like this are the future of sustainable humanitarian efforts, enabling developing countries to take the development into their own hands with proper training and guidance.
Continuing Growth and Partner Involvement
The Unspoken Smiles Foundation will not be slowing down. Our organization intends to help create a world where no individual irrespective of their geographical location has to grow up with poor oral health and disease. Together with our leadership, our partners, and our staff we will continue moving and growing. We would love for you to join us in the upcoming year.
Take a tour of our website and learn about the processes, the projects, and the lives being touched. We cannot do this alone and many have already joined the cause. Now it’s your turn.
