FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

? Psalm 23:4 ?

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

TOPIC: UNSHAKEN IN THE VALLEYS OF LIFE.

Dark valleys are not proof of GOD'S ABSENCE; they are proof of His NEARNESS. The valley is not a place of ABANDONMENT but a place of REVELATION. It is here, in the shadows, that faith is purified, dependence on God takes a deeper root, and fear is dismantled.

The enemy thrives on darkness, hoping we’ll forget The Light….but that WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Over 28 years ago, The Holy Spirit gave me a song about the valley. Part of that song says, “ Even in the valley, I found lilies. Jesus Christ , Is The Lily of The Valley “. Even in that valley, we’re in today, CHRIST THE LILY OF THE VALLEY, is growing and depositing some lilies into our lives! God’s Presence is NEVER diminished. His ROD defends us against unseen threats; His staff redirects us when confusion sets in. We are not walking alone; The Almighty God is with us.

We are WALKING THROUGH, not staying, not settling. The valley is temporary, but our GOD'S PRESENCE IS PERMANENT. Fear is a choice, but so is trust. Choose trust. God's LIGHT still shines, even in the shadow. His Hand still holds, even in uncertainty. KEEP WALKING, your victory is on the other side.

Yes, even in the darkest valleys of life, where fear and uncertainty seem to have a grip, God’s Word assures us of His unwavering presence. Whatever valley is before us, though “seemingly intimidating”, is not meant to destroy us, it is just a corridor of divine transformation, where GOD is also IN CHARGE and The Lily of the valley, our CHRIST is waiting to equip us.

God promises in Deuteronomy 31:8: "The LORD Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

His ROD stands as a symbol of PROTECTION, fighting off the dangers that threaten to overwhelm us, while His STAFF signifies His LOVING GUIDANCE, ensuring we stay on the path to victory.

When fear tries to grip your hearts, remember This truth in 2 Timothy 1:7:

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

The shadows in the valley are not there to harm us, they are evidence of God's Light shining near. As John 1:5 reminds us, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

The valley is never the end of the journey. It is a refining place, where we grow stronger in faith and develop divine character, knowing that Isaiah 43:2 declares: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you." With God by our side, every step through the shadow becomes a step closer to His promises. The light at the end of the valley reveals God's eternal purpose, in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18: "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."

The shadows remind us that God's Presence never leaves us. If He leads us into the valley, it is only because He plans to lead us out, STRONGER, BRAVER, MORE AWARE OF HIS STEADFAST AND UNYIELDING LOVE. Amen.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Heavenly Father, I come to You in need of Your grace. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again. Come into my heart, LORD Jesus Christ, and be my LORD and Savior. Amen. ( Acts 16:31)

GENERAL PRAYER SHOTS.

1) Prayer of repentance and forgiveness

"People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy." Proverbs 28:13.

Confess your sins and shortcomings. Ask God for forgiveness.

2) Faithful Shepherd, teach me to walk confidently, knowing Your rod protects me and Your staff guides me. Let Your light outshine my fears and the shadows. Help me trust in Your purpose for every trial and strengthen my faith daily with Your love that never leaves me, in Jesus Christ's Name.

3) The All Sufficient God, Give me the courage to reject every tendency to camp in the valley, but to keep walking through it, trusting that You're leading me toward green pastures, in Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, amen.
