Power Does Not Corrupt, It Reveals Corruption

A person of character locks themselves within the prison of their own ethical convictions and throws away the key. They do not waver, regardless of temptation or pressure.

By contrast, insecure and weak leaders are dangerous. Their lack of self-discipline often leads to bullying, desperation, and frustration. They seek to control others because they cannot control themselves. A person without character is a leader without direction a ship without an anchor, swayed by every storm.

Character, Not Charisma, Determines Your Future
