?? Dive deep with me into FESHIBLE?, a transformative guide designed to help you identify and overcome the internal barriers we all face. Whether it's fear, ego, insecurity, or past experiences - we can conquer these challenges and thrive.
For those following my posts on FESHIBLE? framework, here is the full explanation in one post.
My personal journey to growth is happening because of my relationship with my brother and our intentional daily effort and focus to address FESHIBLE?. Wanted to share this because others deal with?FESHIBLE? too. Each letter in this acronym means something different, but they all hold us back in some way and my hope is that by recognizing them, others will find value in this framework.
?? Introduction to FESHIBLE?
Ever felt there was something holding you back, both personally and professionally? Introducing the concept of FESHIBLE? - a powerful lens to understand the anchors weighing us down. Over the past week, I explained each element, now, let's put it all together.
?? F - Fear: The first element of FESHIBLE? is Fear - that icy grip stopping us from venturing into the unknown. Ever hesitated before pitching an idea or taking on a new project? That's fear, and acknowledging it is the first step to overcoming it.
?? E - Ego: The ego often masks itself as confidence. It's the voice that craves validation and feeds fear. Our egos want to protect us from failure and embarrassment. Letting go of ego can lead to collaboration, innovation, growth, self-acceptance, and better relationships. I work hard to keep my ego in check!

?? S - Shame: Past mistakes should be lessons, not chains. As we travel along life's journey, it's crucial to move past shame and see failures as growth opportunities.
?? H - History: History shapes us but can also confine us. Are past experiences limiting your current decisions? We can't change the past, so don't waste time regretting and second-guessing ourselves. Break free from the past and create a new narrative for your present life and your future.
?? I - Insecurity**: FESHIBLE's third element. Whether it's doubting our skills or the value we bring, insecurity can be a silent career stopper. Remember, you're here for a reason. Own your space!
?? B - Belief System: The B in FESHIBLE? reminds us that sometimes, the beliefs holding us back aren't ours. The belief system may be the product of our upbringing from childhood or the result of years of indoctrination from our families, friends, religion, and communities. These beliefs are the foundations that guide our lives, behaviors, and success. Often, our beliefs are not truly serving us, in fact, they are holding us back. It takes courage to break free by questioning, rejecting, and updating old belief systems, but when we do, it will lead to transformative and positive personal and professional growth.
?? LE - Lived Experience: The culmination of our past experiences. Our personal experiences reinforce all the other elements, either holding us back or propelling us forward. These lived experiences are more than just memories, they are real and we feel them throughout our bodies. They shape our perspective but shouldn't limit our potential. Embrace them, learn from them, and get past them. Easier said than done, but there is a world of new experiences in front of us. No more looking in the rearview mirror, just take the next step on the journey and create new experiences of our choosing. We've got this.
