Unsettled Like an Egg Timer

Peace with God is what helps you with everything. Imagine the feeling when you are at peace with God. For example, take a moment and create this example for yourself right now. Bow your head in prayer and notice how peaceful you become.

Did you notice how your nervous system went down many notches and how your thoughts became clear about what you wanted to share with Him? This way is how you will be able to live your life abundantly with peace. You know why? Because you are choosing and learning how to connect with Him in every moment.

Being unsettled with your thoughts is like an egg timer. The grains of sand like your thoughts gather one by one and stack on top of one another. Once all grains of sand are captured the timer is complete. Imagine your thoughts captured by our Heavenly Father and one by one they become complete with Him. Complete with certainty, He will guide you as you act on what is meaningful.

Here is what you can do to start this way and always be this way – peaceful in every moment trusting God is helping you remain peaceful in every circumstance. Start by setting your timer every hour. At the hour mark check in with yourself and notice where your thoughts have been. Consistently connected in prayer with God is what will help you be fully aligned with Him. You will notice eventually when you have wandered. It is okay. You will always go back to being in alignment with God’s truths which set you free from anything other than His love permeating your soul – your mind, will, and emotions.
