(Un)real #30: Inclusive.
One of the great opportunities of esports racing is the possibility to create a fully inclusive experience. Female racer Beitske Visser is one of the fastest PRO drivers in the World eX Championship and Chris Overend is just racing with his hands in our series. It’s great to have Chris and Yvonne Houfellaar from Team Brit in World eX Bizz as well from Season 5 onwards which begins next Tuesday.

German game developer Devin Braune made it two wins in a row for Esports Team WRT with his victory in the Malaysian eX Prix. This also means WRT’s PRO entry “Walter” is now leading the World Championship standings. Only TK9-ESpeeD (P2 at Le Mans) and Patrick Long Esports (P6 at Daytona) were able to achieve decent results in their home events this year. Things did not go well for Absolue Racing in the Malaysian eX Prix last Tuesday either when all three eX ZEROs of the Chinese team were eliminated in the Quarter Finals.
WRT was competing in the GT World Challenge this weekend at Hockenheim. It used the opportunity to invite both lead drivers from their World eX Championship team to visit WRT in the real world. Chris Overend and Devin Braune definitely had a great time at Hockenheim.
