The unprecedented poorly managed Covid lockdown and human disaster in Shanghai China - people crying,"No water! no water! we need water! "

April 3, 2022, Shanghai, China.?While the world attention is now focused on Russian assault on Ukraine, and the sufferings of tens of millions of people in Ukraine and the refugees who left the country, another human disaster in raging in China.

Here's a story posted by a girl in the group who were locked down on the night of April 3, 2022 in Pudong, Shanghai as she wrote as follows.

" Many people from Pudong Shanghai were picked up at night of April 3, 2022 by dozens of buses and were supposed to be taken to Cabin Type Mobile Medical Wards (方舱医院， fang cang clinic） for quarantine. However there were no such wards available and people were staying outside overnight in very cold weather, felt cheated, insulted, yelling "No water! no water! we need water! we need food ! " . Very chilling. There are elderly people in their 90s, and children one or two years old. Nobody could sleep well, people felt so desperate. This is only one snapshot.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of , of people who were deemed as "Positive " in Covid PCR test (Nucleic Acid ) were placed into quarantine, in poor shelters and abandoned factory buildings.

We were thrown inside a school at No. 168 Gongbei Road, Nanhui District. There were more than 3,000 people (confirmed cases) in it. From last night to this morning, there was no drinking water, let alone hot water, no meals, no medicine, and not even sight of nurses or doctors. We couldn't sleep at all during the night. The beds are first-come, first-served basis, regardless of gender or age. There are elderly people in their 90s and children one or two years old among us. The actual situation is probably even worse than this. Is this still Shanghai? I hope the relevant government agencies can notice this situation and can help us, at least please provide us with three meals a day, clean drinking water and medical resources / staff! Many of our patients still have high fever!"

Shanghai, with a population of 28 million , is the largest city and #1 industrial center in China. It is experiencing the worst lockdown and human disaster in recent world history, it's completely unnecessary, unscientific, lacking medical justification as judged by leading epidemic experts, inhuman, it has caused tremendous harm to the quality of life of ordinary Chinese people!
