"Unplaced, Not Unstoppable: A Journey from Rejection to Success
Sarathamani S

Hey dears, I want to share something with those who couldn’t secure a placement in the campus interviews
Aarav sat quietly in the campus cafeteria, staring at his untouched cup of coffee. The placement season had come and gone, leaving behind a trail of celebrations and congratulatory messages. But for him, there was only one lingering question—"Why not me?"
Despite his best efforts, he hadn’t secured a job. His friends had moved on, excited about their new roles, while he felt stuck, lost, and unsure about his future.
The Turning Point
One evening, Aarav’s professor, Mr. Sharma, found him sitting alone in the library. Noticing his distress, he sat beside him and said, "Aarav, success is not about how quickly you reach your goal, but how determined you are to get there."
Aarav sighed. "Sir, I’ve given my best, but maybe I’m just not good enough."
Mr. Sharma smiled. "Do you know how many times Thomas Edison failed before inventing the light bulb?"
"More than a thousand times," Aarav murmured.
"Exactly. Every failure was a lesson. Your journey isn’t over. It's just different from others. So, what’s your plan?"
Aarav had no answer. He had been so focused on rejection that he hadn’t thought about his next step.
The Comeback
That night, Aarav made a decision. Instead of drowning in self-doubt, he created a plan:
The Breakthrough
Months passed, and Aarav kept pushing forward. One day, he received an interview call from a startup. Unlike before, he was prepared, confident, and determined. He aced the interview and landed the job.
But the journey didn’t stop there. Within a year, he was recognized for his hard work and offered a better position in a top company. The student who once doubted himself had now proved that setbacks were just setups for greater success.
The Lesson
Aarav’s story is not about failure—it’s about resilience. Not getting placed is not the end; it’s a redirection.
If you’re feeling lost, remember: Your journey is still being written. Keep learning, keep trying, and never stop believing in yourself.
Your breakthrough is coming. Just don’t give up before it does
So.. Do well.. the time is yours.. Don't lose the hope
