Unmasking the Toll of Agency Life on Health

Unmasking the Toll of Agency Life on Health

Insights and Reflections on Prioritizing Wellness Amidst Performance Pressures

Glenn Dalton , a creative consultant and writer from Melbourne, recently shared his journey of leaving his agency job and focusing on improving his health and losing weight. His post struck a chord with me, echoing thoughts in my mind for some time now.

Working in agencies can often breed unhealthy habits—the long hours, the pressure cooker environment, and the temptation of unhealthy food and alcohol can take a toll on one's well-being. While personal choices play a role, I believe agencies should prioritize their team's health and well-being over relentless performance demands.

I delved into this topic in my recent Nowsita edition, emphasizing the need for more flexibility and a shift toward fostering a culture of recovery and balance. Agencies must recognize the importance of nurturing their team's physical and mental health for long-term success and happiness.

?? OpenAI's Lack of Transparency Raises Concerns

Oops.

This week a post by Jürgen Geuter also caught my attention regarding SORA by OpenAI . The lack of transparency regarding the training source is shocking, although not surprising.

The interview with OpenAI's CTO reveals a lack of transparency regarding the training data used for their SORA video generator. When asked about the source of the training corpus, the CTO appeared unprepared and evasive, resorting to vague responses. This raises concerns about OpenAI's commitment to honest dialogue with the public.

Winning entries will be showcased during AICP Week in New York in June and exhibited at MoMA. Visit the AICP Awards Archive website for more details and to view past shows.
