Unlucky for some, Friday the 13th was an amazing success in our eyes!
We held our Annual Protive Golf Day, supporting a charity close to our hearts—Warrington and Halton Hospitals Charity.
Reflecting on last year’s target of raising £3,000, we set our sights higher this year. The Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity Making Waves campaign is raising funds for the paediatric areas across the WHH Trust.
This £55,000 campaign will fund several important projects—some of which are already in use, but others are still in need of support:
On the Green Despite a week of terrible weather and high winds, Mother Nature blessed us with a beautiful day at Poulton Park. We welcomed an incredible array of talent on the course—and we use the term ‘talent’ loosely, as it was the first time some players had picked up a golf club! The event was played in great spirits, with a few splashes on the green adding to the fun.
Once the clubs were put away, we began our raffle and auction. Speaking from the heart, Shaun shared why it’s so important to him to support Warrington and Halton Hospitals Charity. Lawrence Barrow of Barrow Electrical also spoke about the incredible kindness and support he received during his time in intensive care.
Roundup From the golfers to the sponsors, and from auction items to raffle prizes, we’re proud to announce we raised an amazing £9,000 for this fantastic charity. We can’t thank everyone enough—the teams, the sponsors, and those who donated prizes. Your generosity makes a real difference to this wonderful cause in our community.
