I’ve been there. Transitioning from a Revenue Assurance Analyst to a Product Specialist over 15 years ago, I faced similar challenges. Now, as a seasoned Product Leader who has launched value-added products for millions of users, I understand how vital guidance and clarity are in this journey.

Lessons from my Journey to Product Management

I’ve never kept it a secret—transitioning into Product Management wasn’t a walk in the park. I started out as a Revenue Assurance Analyst, deep in data and numbers, and while it was fulfilling, I craved something more.

I wanted to build, lead, and solve real customer problems. But like many of you, I had no roadmap, no mentor, and no clear idea of where to start. The result? Confusion. Self-doubt. And a constant feeling of being stuck.

But everything changed when I discovered the strategies that worked.
