These filings, although not explicitly mentioning the Quest 3, hint at regulatory approval for the headset. The FCC documents also reveal significant details about Quest 3, including 6GHz wireless capabilities akin to Quest Pro, a 40% slimmer optic profile, a new Snapdragon chip, and improved-resolution displays. Market experts estimate the starting price for Quest 3 at $499, positioning it slightly higher than its predecessor, Quest 2, yet still offering affordability in comparison to emerging MR devices. The pending Quest 3 launch could also potentially coincide with a price reduction for Quest 2, making VR more accessible. With advancements such as the "highest resolution display" and a next-gen Snapdragon chipset, Quest 3 aims to outperform its predecessors in both hardware and user experience.
