Unlocking the Secrets of Muscle Memory

There comes a time in everyone's life when you want to do a lot in your career but it becomes difficult for you to implement your ideas in practical life whereas you have the skill to develop them.

Then what happens that before doing anything your mind tells you “just wait a little longer and then we will do it”. If something similar is happening with you then remember that you need discipline. Or should I say, to develop a special habit which we also call muscle memory.

Now you might be thinking that muscle memory increases your memory power, right? Yes, that's what you have to do; you don't have to let yourself forget your goal. Be it the goal of walking 500 steps every day or drinking 50 glasses of water. Believe me; this small habit of yours is capable of getting you to do many big things.

Let us assume that you are a writer and you have to write your book. In such a situation, you have the story and also the art of putting it on the pages. If there is nothing else, it is the habit of writing that book. In such a situation, you will be able to develop the habit of doing any new work only when you remember that habit.

It sounds quite difficult but it is equally easy to do. You use this muscle memory every day to maintain one or the other habit of yours. Such small things as keeping the shoes at their place after reaching home or giving indicators before taking left turn or right turn while driving. The things that you do continuously are remembered by your brain and when the time comes and your brain keeps reminding you to do that work.

Similarly, if you want to develop any habit, then first learn to make it your muscle memory. Discipline yourself. You may have to force yourself to do that work for some days, but once your mind starts remembering that work, your interest in that work will also increase. So keep giving yourself a new challenge every day, because this is your Brahmastra in this mind game.
