In this edition, we are excited to share recruitment strategies inspired by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). These actionable insights can be the catalyst that helps you attract, engage, and retain top-notch talent, ultimately elevating the critical work we do for our communities.
1. Proactive Sourcing for Outstanding Candidates: Reach for Excellence
Picture having access to a pool of highly qualified candidates even before job openings emerge. Similar to NCDHHS, you can explore the world of proactive sourcing to uncover hidden talent gems that perfectly align with your LHD's mission. By fostering networking, partnerships, and targeted outreach, you can achieve remarkable results.
2. Elevating Candidate Engagement: Simplifying the Application Process
Ensuring a seamless and user-friendly application experience is paramount. As observed at NCDHHS, timely feedback, transparent communication, and a candidate-centered approach can position your LHD as an employer of choice. It's essential that candidates feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
3. Optimizing Hiring Events: The Express Lane to Success
NCDHHS has blazed a trail with innovative hiring events. Consider hosting dynamic events that offer on-site interviews and immediate job offers for entry-level positions. This streamlined approach can significantly reduce time-to-fill, enabling you to secure top talent swiftly.
4. Expanding Community Outreach: Meaningful Engagement
Establishing robust connections with your community is fundamental. NCDHHS has set a stellar example, and you can do the same. Engage with local organizations, collaborate with community colleges, and partner with entities like NCworks to cultivate a thriving network. Leverage social media and email to showcase your "Hot Jobs" and extend invitations to one-on-one sessions with LHD recruiters, providing invaluable guidance to job seekers.

Perry's office out of county assistance was sent in. As I brought That worker up to speed in. Things she went from " do you realize how much danger you and your granddaughter would be in if I look into or when I look into this case I said yes yes ma'am I am very well aware of just exactly how much danger we are in and she is in even more danger separated from me and with a person that want even if knowledge her trauma. From that to well ma'am she is no longer a resident of Lenoir county and out of our hands so the case has closed ... Well I wrecking everyone with an open CPS CASE can just move to the next county and cases across north Carolina will be closed. She wasn't even a cps case worker she was a foster care worker threatening my family lying to my elderly mother like she was stupid. or if she is around me she will go to foster care and parents to court
