Homebuilding: Lagging but Poised for Change?
Despite this clear demand for personalization, homebuilding has been slow to catch up. Most builders still offer a single, generic experience to all buyers. This outdated approach doesn’t resonate with today’s consumers, who view a home as one of the most personal products they can purchase.

6 个月Jeff Shore - Exactly! With more tech available, personalization should be easier, but not all builders deliver the same level, even if they say they do. It’s important to highlight what really sets your approach apart. Don’t want to overpromise.

Once the visualization process is complete and personalizations made, does Higharc feed into the material and labor costing calculations or is that a separate step? The latter is usually where chokepoints happen and/or the change is priced wrong.
The builder I work for- DRB Homes and the community I work in offer both quick move-ins and the opportunity to choose homesite, home plan, personalize, and build their home. Buyers love this option and really get excited about the process of personalization! If people have the time to build they almost always choose that option, and if not our QMI’s are amazing as well!
