Unlocking the Power of Gratitude

A heart-felt thanks, a pat on the back, a word of appreciation, a positive emotion - Gratitude is everything. It has the power to win hearts, acknowledge goodness of life and create strong collaborative ties. It is much more rewarding because of the intrinsic happiness and the sense of accomplishment it brings in.

It sounds simple, doesn’t it?

Yet, we fail to unlock its true power. We’re so busy with our lives that we forget to appreciate and thank everything and everyone around us who touch our lives in simple yet meaningful ways.

Gratitude plays an even more significant role in workplaces, but is often confused with recognition. Traditional recognition programs focus on celebrating achievements, which is important, but they usually miss out on creating an environment that appreciates good and honest inputs. In contrast, a gratitude-driven culture not only builds camaraderie and engagement, but also allows people to take a moment and reflect on the good. Whether you’re thanking someone or being thanked, you will experience renewed energy. A thankful appreciation brings in positivity and is core to building a sustainable culture.

“Appreciate the good, and the good appreciates” forms the foundation of the Rivigo culture - our way of life. To celebrate this facet of our culture, we celebrated Gratitude week from 31 July- 7 August 2017.

We believe in making a difference with everything we do and over the last three years, we’ve come a long way. It has been possible only because of the collective and persistent efforts everyone has put in as a team. Gratitude Week came in as an opportunity for all to thank and appreciate such inspiring efforts and support.

Employees in all of our 80+ pan India locations collectively exchanged over 8000 thank you cards in just 7 days.

It doesn’t really take a reason to be grateful, but we celebrated this week with a new reason to thank someone every day. 7 days came with 7 new reasons to thank! Our support staff participated in the Gratitude Week as well.

This week brought in a renewed energy and enthusiasm in Rivigo. It not only strengthened some already inseparable bonds, but also inspired us all to work together towards our mission of building the new India and making logistics human, digital, faster and safer.
