Hello!
As many of you might already know (it's widely mentioned online, and I've publicly discussed it twice on Imperiul Leilir and twice in this newsletter), I have high-functioning autism, classified as a severe disability. This classification has allowed me to establish a Protected Unit Authorized Sole Proprietorship (PFA), a business with tax benefits.
How Does It Work?
By law, any company with more than 50 employees must have 4% of its workforce composed of individuals with disabilities. Many businesses, for various reasons, fail to meet this requirement. Consequently, the state imposes a tax equivalent to a minimum gross salary (currently 3,700 lei, likely to increase to 4,100 lei or more) for each required but unfilled disabled employee position. Half of this amount can be redirected towards purchasing products or services from Protected Units like mine.
Currently, my business operates as a PFA, but as it grows, I plan to employ more people with disabilities. I strongly believe in the abilities of individuals with disabilities and am committed to creating a more inclusive workforce.

The great news is that all these services are available at no additional cost to businesses (technically, it's tax-deductible, but let's just call it free for clarity). Companies pay using funds they would otherwise give to the state, thus fulfilling their social responsibility while supporting inclusive business practices.
