One of the most valuable business lessons I have learned is the importance of positioning oneself in the heart of where business is happening. When it comes to sporting events, there are few better places to be than in the host city during Super Bowl week.

Positioning yourself amidst a convergence of influential figures opens doors to meet and engage with top business executives and trailblazers, all in one central hub. Whether it's a scheduled meeting with a high-level executive or an unexpected encounter with luminaries like Shaquille O’Neal or Dave Portnoy (both of which have happened to our group), the level of accessibility is unmatched. Furthermore, there are those serendipitous moments where you might cross paths with the CEO of the company you aspire to connect with, work for, or collaborate with. And if you find all this exhilarating, just wait until you immerse yourself in the sheer spectacle of the actual Super Bowl game!

Through Living Sport, I have the privilege of imparting this crucial insight to aspiring business students. Ever since its inception, Living Sport has been dedicated to providing access to deserving students who may not know how to obtain it.

Why? Because I was once that sport management student yearning for guidance on navigating substantial opportunities in sport. Now, after an 18-year career spanning the NBA, NHL, MiLB, and numerous international cycling events, I've crafted the very program I wished had existed during my college years. Nearly seven years later, I've had the honor of educating and empowering over 900 students through sport.

Living Sport's Flagship International Sport Business Program at Super Bowl LVIII isn't just an ordinary experience - it's a dynamic blend of immersive business school training, exhilarating international travel, unparalleled networking opportunities, and global work prospects, all expertly condensed into an action-packed 10-day program.

From February 2nd to the 13th (2024), over 50 students from every corner of the nation were granted exclusive access to a whirlwind of opportunities. They participated in dynamic networking sessions, gained invaluable insights from seasoned sports professionals, embarked on thrilling tours of top-notch sports facilities, immersed themselves in the vibrant local culture, and honed their skills in workshops focusing on personal branding and social media - all designed to catapult their dreams of a career in the sports industry to new heights.

In addition to acquiring knowledge and building strong connections, program participants received hands-on experience working Super Bowl LVIII inside Allegiant Stadium as well as fan experience events leading up to the big game.

Students were able to witness firsthand the detailed planning, the logistics, and the electrifying atmosphere of Super Bowl Sunday while fulfilling roles in customer service and hospitality throughout the stadium.

• Inspiring keynote address by legendary sports executive, David Meltzer.

• Special appearance by VaynerSports Co-Founder and CEO, AJ Vaynerchuk with Director of Marketing, Hayley Cohen.

• Exclusive studio audience experience for a live podcast featuring Juwan Johnson, Tight End for the New Orleans Saints, and his wife and influencer Chanen Johnson, hosted by sports broadcaster Adam Breneman.

• Motivational keynote speech by 3-time Olympic Gold Medalist, LaShawn Merritt.

• Keynote session by Lisa Motley from the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA), followed by a panel discussion with staff members including Savannah Orth, Abriana Buffolino, Tyler Baldwin, and Julianne Dominguez.

• Insightful tour discussion at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with Jeff Motley and Jennifer Stefano.

• Attending the Women in Sport Luncheon hosted by United Natives.
