Unlocking Opportunities with Bangkit Academy: The Power of Action and Adaptability

This powerful quote by Garrison Wynn reminds us that true success stems not only from careful planning but also from the bravery to take action and the flexibility to adjust to change. In our fast-paced world, those who act decisively while embracing adaptability are the ones who uncover new opportunities. By creating momentum and moving forward despite uncertainties, we can turn challenges into stepping stones. This mindset—combining proactive effort with adaptability—empowers individuals and businesses to thrive, even in unpredictable circumstances.

Ways of Interacting

Throughout the Bangkit program, I learned the importance of effective interaction during ILT and Weekly Consultation sessions. At first, I felt hesitant and shy about participating actively. However, over time, I gathered the courage to use the open mic feature in Google Meet sessions. This became a valuable experience as I gained more confidence in expressing my ideas and asking questions directly to mentors and peers.

Ways of Achieving

Setting goals and targets was not easy for me. The challenge lay in staying consistent and managing my time efficiently, especially with the numerous tasks and materials to complete. Prioritizing tasks and maintaining a daily to-do list helped me stay on track and remain productive throughout the program. I also realized that success is not just about meeting deadlines but also understanding and appreciating every step of the process.

Ways of Learning

Bangkit applies a self-paced learning model, requiring me to manage my study time independently. While this gave me flexibility, it also challenged me to maintain self-discipline. I used techniques such as the To-do List method to keep up with the workload?and made daily notes. These strategies helped me grasp the material better and maintain an effective learning schedule.

Ways of Working

In completing various tasks, I utilized tools like GitHub, Discord, and Google Workspace. Each tool played a crucial role in supporting my productivity. GitHub helped with project management, Discord facilitated communication with mentors and teammates, and Google Workspace enabled seamless collaboration and document sharing. The integration of these tools made my workflow more efficient and smooth. I also use Ubuntu.

Ways of Thinking

One of the most memorable experiences in this program was the ILT-SS session on "Growth and the Power of Feedback." Through this session, I realized the importance of having an open mindset to embrace feedback and suggestions from others. This shift in perspective allowed me to see challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities for growth and continuous learning.
