My "go-to" recommendations are local and national professional groups and college/university alumni groups. Most higher ed institutions have a company LinkedIn page that allows you to search for fellow alums in any location who work in your desired career path, and much more. Bonus for any group: you can usually message group members even if you have the free account.

Insightful. But in my LinkedIn experience I do not see any real activity and engagement in the many groups here I am connected with. May be 1-2 likes, no comments. Latest algorithm changes even more decreased authentic activity and post engagement. I see more AI prompts and bots operating in this platform, unfortunately.... I am speaking about the groups I am part of for the several years, and the different topics I am following on. I am considering moving to X,more freedom of speech, opinion and authentic activity
