Before we jump into what we're learning, I'd love to share what's new...
In Monday's Live, we explored the art of growing your people, a vital element in fostering a thriving business. Investing in your team's growth is the key to Business Vitality. Here are three fundamental keys to growing your team:
1. Leading with Questions
2. Making Space to Breathe
3. Being Intentional and Present
By leading with questions, creating space for individuals to think, and being intentionally present, you can inspire sustainable change and elevate your team's potential.

Back to what we are learning.
What if we give others credit for what they are noticing?
So often in our coaching engagements, it is surprising for the leader to learn the stakeholders around them already know they need to work on building the team (or whichever leadership behavior the leader wants to work on). This often happens around week 5, when we reconcile my 360 interview analysis with the leader. But once we give others credit for what others are seeing, it allows the leader to hit the next level of growth.?
As Marshall Goldsmith shares,?and this is the title of one of his books, What Got You Here Will Not Get You There. For me, about every 12-18 months I had to create leadership growth for myself. How often are we intentionally looking at what is still working and what needs to change?

Humans are addicted to certainty. I read about this recently and it hit home to me. Think about it…
As we grow as leaders, the more we have to grow used to uncertainty.??
Leadership has never been black and white. Leadership is not as easy as?implementing a Statement of Procedures (SOP) and call it a day. We have to get used to doing our best.
My Best Work?
Have you ever studied Spielberg? Actors interviewed who have worked with him often share that it is difficult to work with him. They also share that they can't wait to work with him again. When asked why, they said, Speilburg simply asks: Is that your best work? And if you can honestly say yes, that is my best work, then it stays in the film.?
What if today you ask yourself: Was this my best work??
And if you are delivering your best work consistently, know this is where you are meant to be and your value will win in the end.
If you are interested in learning more, I'd love to hear from you by either booking a call or sending me a message. We work with businesses, leaders, teams, and individuals to create measurable leadership change?using practical applications.?
