I am facilitating an interesting module titled “Consumer Behavior” for Year 4 hospitality students. Our first class began with two simple questions (simplicity is great progress):
My students and I attempted to solve the Rubik's cubes, and after 7 minutes, it was evident that we failed miserably. It was fun and humbling to watch all of us fail...
Anuja Srivastava added a twist to the whole experience. She confidently said, "I will solve the cube during the break." Indeed, at break time, she tried again and solved the cube. Persistence is crucial in learning and life. If something doesn't work today or tomorrow, keep trying until it works.
The point: Our class doesn't judge anyone for making mistakes or failing during our classroom activities. This is an integral part of learning.

1 个月I think its really had to solve a Rubik's cube in one try. Then more you try it and re organize it is there more you learn the chemistry and science behind its arrangement. So to me its indeed about trying it over and over untill you get it right.
