"Unlocking Insights: My Journey as a Digital Analyst Intern at VML MAP"

As I reach the midpoint of my digital analyst internship at VML MAP, I reflect on a journey filled with learning, growth, and practical experience. Over the past five weeks, I've had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into the world of digital analytics and contribute to meaningful projects.

From day one, I was introduced to key tools and platforms that form the backbone of digital analytics. My primary focus has been on mastering Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Adobe Target. Creating and implementing tagging plans has been a significant part of my role, ensuring that websites are properly tracked for data collection. This experience has not only sharpened my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of how data-driven insights can drive business decisions.

One of the most significant part of my job has been conducting thorough QA for both preview and live websites. This process has taught me the importance of attention to detail and the necessity of ensuring data accuracy before any website goes live. Each tagging plan I create is meticulously tested to confirm that every tag functions as intended, and the data flows seamlessly into our analytics tools.

Additionally, I've had the chance to create dashboards and reports that transform raw data into actionable insights. These visual representations of data help teams across the company understand user behavior, measure campaign performance, and make informed decisions.

A highlight of my experience has been the collaborative environment at VML MAP. I've had the privilege of working alongside seasoned professionals who generously share their knowledge and expertise. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my incredible team, Jason Jeong , Alex Barnes , Scott Hastings , Tomas Solano Sanchez and Cassondra Ladd at VML MAP for their unwavering support, guidance, and for creating an environment where learning and collaboration thrive. Their guidance has been invaluable in navigating the challenges and maximizing the learning opportunities during my internship.
