The story of Tong Wenhong, the receptionist and Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba.

Tong started working at a company called Alibaba 16 years ago, where she greeted and helped people as a receptionist.

One day, the company's founder, Jack Ma, decided to give Tong a small percentage of the company's shares, specifically 0.2%.

He told her that these shares would be worth 100 million dollars when Alibaba became a public company and entered the stock market.

Jack Ma asked Tong to stay with the company and not leave for another job, promising that she would receive her 100 million dollars when the time came.

Tong waited patiently for many years, hoping to see Alibaba go public.

In 2004, she asked Jack when it would happen, and he assured her that it would be soon.

In 2006, Tong asked again, and Jack Ma gave her the same answer, saying that it would be soon.

But as time went on, Tong never saw Alibaba become a public company, and she never received her 100 million dollars.

It wasn't until September 2014 that Alibaba finally went public on the New York Stock Exchange, and its value skyrocketed to a staggering 245.7 billion dollars.

Tong, the former receptionist who had worked her way up to becoming a Vice President of Alibaba, didn't receive 100 million dollars as promised. Instead, her shares were worth a whopping 320 million dollars!

Important lesson to learn in this story: The word "entrepreneurship" has 16 letters, and the sixth letter is "P," which stands for "Patience."
