There is one more aspect that I would like to add and I'm quite enthusiastic about, and should be or can be beneficial to take into consideration upon taking the ERP business transformation journey - DPP - digital product passport. There are still plenty of open questions to the practice, however, building up digital transparency into the E2E or cradle-to-grave product processes is a must. Also, to build up interfaces with the tiers of partners that enables the visibility through out the supply chain. And, more over, not just for the benefit of product pass and traceability, the opportunity to build up the better understanding on what happens to the product as their lifecycle of the initial use is coming to an end, what happens next? E.g., are there opportunities in co-operation with other companies, in terms of material / product waste being a raw material to another company or industry? Thank's petri, an excellent point of view to highlight! This time I disagree with you only on one small point... (this was a joke, mostly I don't need to disagree), this: You wrote: "Align current as-is processes with ERP's best-practice industry standards to ensure a seamless transition and sustainable new ways of working." It has the word Seamless in the wrong place. Change to the better even SHOULD be made visible and not hidden in the reports, and we still have to remember to even celebrate vigorously when the job is done ??!. Ok ok, this was a deliberate bringing up of small details, but what do you do, if there are no big flaws in the story, let's dig for commas... ?? !
