While it's exciting to see how technology is transforming the way we work, we need to remember that digital transformation is not just about implementing new technology. It's about fostering a culture that prioritizes customer-centricity, a collaborative team working environment, simplicity, and automation in data collection.


While there has been a decline in digital transformation initiatives in 2022 due to various factors like global economic slowdown, rising costs of technology, a shortage of skilled workers, and the lack of a clear business case, it is still a critical business priority.

Effective executives need to empower their people with participative management and a culture of accountability to optimize resources and actions towards higher goals.


Data governance is an essential part of any digital transformation journey, and having a framework in place will help organizations tailor their governance program to their specific data types and information governance disciplines. By focusing on the right industry and function-specific use cases, organizations can leverage the benefits of data analytics for increased efficiency, innovation, and improved customer and employee experiences. 


It's also important to choose the right data storage and analytics solution for a business, based on its existing architecture and goals for digital transformation. This emphasizes the need for a collaborative and agile approach to technology adoption and advises businesses to focus on developing organizational and technical maturity over time.


Finally, incorporating Cloud, Biometrics, BI, AI, chatbots, and collaborative robots (among others) offer great opportunities for increased productivity and quality in various industries through human-robot interaction. We are focused on the biggest problem in digital transformation. It is manual. You want demand forecasting and automated ordering? Two years. You buy a phone and it turns up two years later? You buy an app? Two years. Cap-ex should tend towards zero. Automating consultants and third parties out of digital transformation for horizontal services is the start, so cap-ex can be spent on vertical competitive advantage.
