In a major Insights piece this month, our team has synthesized years of experience developing national carbon market frameworks into 10 lessons. It is our hope that many more countries will be able to benefit from these learnings.

Turning to our alliances, we took a moment to hear from Tanyeli Sabuncu at WWF-Türkiye on an initiative he is spearheading to secure a Just Energy Transition in the next round of NDCs.

For those who are new to carbon markets, we are currently delivering a series on the fundamentals, starting with a webinar on? carbon pricing theory and concepts. We are recording and posting these to our site.

Lastly, we wanted to share a project we carried out for a major humanitarian aid agency which highlights the potential opportunities and limits of? carbon market participation in humanitarian activities?

Just starting out? Start with the basics

If you are new to the Carbon Markets and Carbon Pricing space we know it can seem quite daunting! While there are a ton of great resources out there, including UNDPs Learning for Nature initiatives with its 101 course on Article 6.2, we thought it would be useful for newcomers to start right from the basics. There might even be some nuggets in there for veterans to recap on too, given the depth and breadth of knowledge shared by Johan Nylander in the session.

?Look out for more in this series as we dive into the details with Johan. Psst! If there is a topic you'd like to see covered, we'd love to hear your suggestions.
