8 个月The current funding mechanisms such as #EuroBonds, #TunaBonds , #IMFloans, and #DiasporaBonds have not been effective for the African people. These mechanisms involve African governments, facilitated by #WallStreet banks, pledging their citizens' future income for loans. These loans are not tied to specific productive assets and most of the proceeds end up in numbered accounts in tax havens. #DiasporaBonds as currently structured is a double whammy for the African people. The governments loot their countries until they force their best #HumanCapital out then entice them to hand over their newfound resources against their kind future income routing the proceeds to #TaxHavens again! We need a new funding model #CoInvestment in specific assets etc with clear terms by #Co-Investors that only local Africans #Contractors #Professionals , & #Labour will lead
