Unlock the Zen of Slowing Down by Reinventing Yourself

Unlock the Zen of Slowing Down by Reinventing Yourself

Are you starting the New Year off with a bang, back to business as usual?

You wake up with a to-do list longer than Rapunzel's hair and a day meticulously planned out. But life has a knack for throwing curveballs, doesn't it?

Your boss needs you at work, your friends seek your comforting shoulder, and your hubby wants you to just sit down and relax. It's as if your carefully laid plans have been tossed out the window, leaving you feeling like your day is in shambles.

But hold on, because giving in to life's unexpected twists doesn't mean you're failing. In fact, it's a testament to your humanity, your realness, your ability to adapt and embrace the unpredictability of your oh-so-real life. However, it becomes a problem when constant interruptions keep you from getting what you want, making progress and creating meaningful change in your life.

As a Reinvention coach, I help you get more of what you want in life by helping you sort through your maze of obligations and responsibilities.

There’s likely some hidden road blocks that are preventing you from getting to where you want to go.

Together, we can pave the way for a life that's calm, peaceful, present, and mindful, all while still achieving your personal and professional goals.

The key to this transformation? It's all within you, waiting to be unlocked.

We start by shifting your mindset. It's not about "slowing down" in the traditional sense; it's about becoming intentional, about crafting your own path instead of being swept away by the chaos around you.

We're cutting through the tug of war you find yourself in, helping you regain control over your life.

Let's face it; a life crammed to the brim isn't fulfilling unless you're in that rare, inspired, creative, and focused zone – the coveted Zen state.

I remember the days, hours, and months I poured my energy into developing choreography as a dance major in college. I was in the zone and loving every minute of it. That was a different kind of busy. It had purpose; it was intentional.

Now, it's the other kind of "busy" that we're addressing. The kind that's frantic, mindless, and leaves you feeling overwhelmed.

More doesn't always equal better. Often, the faster you move, the less attention you pay to the things that matter most – your family, your purpose, your health.

Is this what’s happening in your life?

Slowing down isn't about standing still; it's about creating space to breathe, reflect, and recalibrate. When you finally let life's whirlwind settle, that's when you can hear your inner guidance clearly.

Reinventing oneself takes a willingness to open yourself up to seeing through a different lens, facing fears and dissolving disempowering beliefs. It’s a process and a learned practice that shows you how to live bravely, choose wisely, and move with balanced drive.

All of us developed how we view ourselves and ourselves in the world when we were under the age of 10. A famous psychoanalyst Carl Jung discovered that in those impressionable years we formed our shadow selves. They are those disempowering thoughts and beliefs that were originally developed to protect us, to help us cope, and to help us understand confusing or dramatic circumstances. We rejected parts of ourselves that we considered bad or shameful and made commitments about how we would operate in the world.

To give you an example: My father died when I was 4 years old. My mother was grieving and emotionally absent and had to return to the workforce. I was left alone a lot to figure things out. I formed a belief that "Life is Hard" because what I was experiencing was not easy! I did not understand that I was grieving too.

To cope with the uncomfortable feelings, I kept myself busy to push away the unacknowledged feelings of grief. As I grew up, I lived inside my own creative world and I involved myself in sports. This habit protected me back then but as I grew into adulthood my disciplined and focused work ethic would become my best and worst quality. Usually ending in a cycle of exhaustion, recovery, exhaustion.

?See how easily these beliefs are formed? We bring them with us and these beliefs dictate what we can or can't have do or be in life.

As a Reinvention coach I walk you through the process, unwind the disempowering beliefs you may not be aware of that will bring understanding to why you do what you do. When you're able to bring these beliefs out of the shadows and shine light on them, "shift happens". I help you tap into your own healing power and challenge you to step out of the comfort of what you know so you can become all you were meant to be.

If this process was easy to do by yourself just by reading a book, we'd all be healthy, happy, and whole by now. Reinvention is a different kind of process- it gives you the formula on how to create lasting change in your life, step by step. Then you can repeat the process in your own life. That's real, quantifiable empowerment!

But many are still quietly suffering and accepting a frazzled life of exhaustion, a stressful life of disappointment or waiting, wishing, wanting and hoping that their life will change. Perhaps waiting to win the lottery and finally have everything they ever wanted?

But, it’s the inside that needs to change first. ?

Sadly, many believe they can’t change.

I tell you what, I had my biggest growth and shift when I was in my 50’s so I know it’s possible. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!! Now, I can look back and see that my life path brought me to where I am today. I experienced a lot of joy and a lot of pain for a reason.

Now, I’m continually working on protecting my peace, challenging myself to be better than I was yesterday and staying on the reinvention highway. I'm feel more authentic, self-assured and comfortable in my own skin. I trust that I can handle whatever life throws my way. This is the magic of reinvention coaching and the reason I am honored to pay forward this priceless gift of liberation.

It's a powerful step to unravel the disempowering beliefs we created during our formative years. Remember, these beliefs were formed to protect us, to help us make sense of situations we didn’t understand with our Childs mind. But now that protection is limiting us and causing dis-ease in our lives.

So, if you're ready to unlock the Zen of slowing down, put your life in “cruise” control, and live with more zest - I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Your journey to an intentional, fulfilling life starts right here, right now.
