Unlock The Secrets To Find A Great Job In Q1 2022

I know you think you're doing things differently and have an edge in your job search. But as a top national recruiter who reviews hundreds of resumes per day, I can see the way that almost every job seeker searches (so this includes you, too).

Most job seekers conduct their job search in pretty much the same way, and their resumes look similar even when they try to differentiate themselves. And there are some specific reasons your search and resume looks very much like your competitors'.

One reason is that you're using the same job search advice as everyone else. You're using resume/job search information from outplacement, most career coaches/authors or had your resume written by a certified professional resume writer. If you're using advice from a friend/mentor, they've probably gotten their advice from one of these career sources. When you use the same resume/job search advice and strategies as your competitors, you all look the same to employers.

A second reason is when you customize your resume to fit a position, you use the same publicly available information as everyone else (including the job description, company website/financials/LinkedIn, and Google), so it doesn't give you any advantage over your competition. No, you're not a better Google researcher than anyone else - It's been around for over 20 years, so we're all pretty good at searching Google. My 86 year old mother can search Google about as well as anyone else today.

This also makes you look just like your competitors from an employer's point of view. It results in making your job search long and frustrating if you're currently employed, and if you're unemployed this risks long term unemployment, burning through your savings and even financial problems.

But what about the worker shortages you're hearing about? Certain jobs have shortages of workers: bar/restaurant, low wage hourly, front line manufacturing, truck driver, and doctor/nurse positions. These probably aren't the type of jobs you're looking for.

For white-collar career staff, management, and executive positions, there are job shortages. You're competing against 90M job seekers (Here's the math: 80M+ currently employed job seekers are expected to change jobs in 2022, plus 8M+ unemployed including 2M from unemployment statistics, and 5M+ who were cut off and uncounted since September). Since there are only 10M jobs advertised now, this makes almost 10 job seekers applying for every job (3:1 is considered a job shortage).

You end up doing the same things as everyone else and using the same research information because you don't know a better way - so you look just like everyone else to employers.

To stand out from a large number of qualified candidates competing for the same jobs, you need to do things very differently than everyone else. And I can show you the secrets to find a great job in Q1 2022.
