Unlock the Power of AI: Create FREE Personalized Datasets for Your Business with ChatGPT

How to Craft Tailor-Made ChatGPT #AI Datasets for Next-Level Ease and Success

If you were to ask ChatGPT or GPT4 (hereinafter AI) to respond to an email from a potential client seeking out more information about your products or services, you might prompt it with:

“Write an email response to an inquiry from a potential client describing our products and services. Include in the email the value we bring to the table, the solutions we provide to the client, and our contact information. Keep the response short and to the point.”

A standard response provided by the default AI might be:

Subject: Our Products and Services for Your Business Needs

Dear [Client Name],

_____

Both responses took about 5 seconds for the AI to spit out. I think you’d agree that the first response is going to take much more time and effort to fine tune and finalize than the second.

HOW DID WE DO THIS?

What we did is feed the AI our public information so that it could tap into that information when providing various responses. We included information that is public and that we routinely share when needed. We narrow each ‘Part’ to about one page in a Google Doc.

Here’s how you can easily do this:

Step #1:

In a new prompt session, type the following:

Please memorize the following content and name it PART1, respond with the word 'yes' when complete: <insert/copy/paste the first section of content>

Step #2:

In the same prompt session, type the following:

Please memorize the following content and name it PART2, respond with the word 'yes' when complete: <insert/copy/paste the next section of content>

Step #3:

Continue to use this process with PART3, PART4, PART5… to add your personal bio, company product and service information, company contact information, company websites and links, testimonials, and any other public information you’d like to add, via this prompt sequence.

Step #4:

Now let’s tell AI to combine all the parts into memory. In the same prompt session type the following including all of the sub-prompts you set up. For example:

Please combine PART1 plus PART2 plus PART3 plus PART4 and PART5 and refer to the whole combined text as MASTER, and respond with the word 'yes' when complete.

Step #5:

Now you have a trained AI database. When you want to create content, go to this label and open the prompt position. Next, type your desired prompt. You can write emails, messages, posts or just ask for information.

I know many of my tech clients are already doing this but I'm guessing this is new for most of my community members. Pretty cool right?

FINAL THOUGHTS AND TIPS

Google Docs

When setting up our different prompts, we simply copied and pasted each data area (PART1, PART2...) into a master Google Doc. When done, we have a single and long Google Doc with all of the above information separated by each ‘Part.” This makes it easy to have all the information available for future use and similar prompts like I explained below for our Legal and Mediation services.

Rename Project

You can rename the AI tag. From your laptop or desktop, look at the left hand column, tap on the tag and rename. We used capital letters to make the special dataset easy to find.

Save URL to Favorites

When you click on your saved prompt in the left hand column, you’ll notice a unique URL in your browser tab. Why not save it for easy future use? We use the Chrome browser and have saved the different datasets in our Favorite folder for quick access at the top of Chrome throughout the day. You can also do the same thing with your iPhone by opening up the URL on your phone, and then saving to the phone screen.

We Have Several Different Datasets

We created unique datasets for (1) legal services, (2) consulting services and (3) mediation services. Sure, much of the training content is the same but each practice area has different links, promotional content and recommendations.

We also created identical datasets for our paid GPT4 service and also set them up in the free GPT3 service. This way, if we’ve exhausted the number of prompts allowed for GPT4, we can still use the service in GPT3 mode. We renamed and tagged each instance to make each one easy to distinguish from the other.

Adding New Information

If you later want to add new information to your dataset, simple go to that data set and the last open prompt, and type:

Please memorize the following content and add it to the MASTER, respond with the word 'yes' when complete: <insert/copy/paste the new content>

CONCLUSION

I hope you found this free AI dataset creation approach helpful. It’s saving us a lot of time and really helping us to create personalized responses.

One final thought. We only feed content to the dataset that is public. For now, despite the opt-out feature, we’re still playing it safe and assuming anything we type into AI is eventually going to be available to the general public.?

We did use the OpenAI Data Opt-Out Request form but like I said, for now we’re playing it safe with respect to any data fed into the service.

Did you find this article helpful? How will you be creating personalized datasets for your business? Please share in the comments.
