The UnLive Method: Polished Content, Live Interaction

If you are a fan of the YouTube visibility that livestreams bring but not so much of the pressure of doing full livestreams, I wanted to share a hybrid method I have been trying that may be just what you need.?
It's called the UnLive Method, and it's designed to blend the best of both worlds - the engagement of live streaming with the polish of pre-recorded content.
Here's how it works:
1. Pre-record your main content
Start by creating a high-quality video on your chosen topic. This could be a solo teaching session, an interview with a guest, or even repurposed content from a webinar or course. The key is to have something valuable and engaging for your audience.
2. Schedule your UnLive event
Pick a consistent cadence for your UnLive events - I recommend starting with bi-weekly or monthly. Then, schedule these events on YouTube, giving yourself enough lead time to promote effectively.
3. Promote like it's a live event
In the week leading up to your scheduled event, create buzz just like you would a full live stream to build anticipation.
4. Go live with your intro
When it's showtime, start your stream with a live intro. Welcome your audience, tease what's coming up, and encourage engagement in the chat. This is your chance to create that electric live atmosphere!
5. Play your pre-recorded content
Transition smoothly into your pre-recorded video. The magic here? While it's playing, you can be fully present in the chat, answering questions and hyping up key moments. It's like being your own hype person!

6. Close with a live outro
Once the pre-recorded portion ends, jump back on live to wrap things up. Address questions from the chat, give shout-outs to engaged viewers, and reiterate your call-to-action.
The beauty of this method is that it gives you the best of both worlds. You get the polished content of a pre-recorded video, but with all the engagement and urgency of a live event. Plus, it takes away the pressure of having to be "on" for an extended period.

Remember, the goal here is to create content that resonates with your audience while making the process more manageable for you. It's about working smarter, not harder.
