Absolutely, we choose which athletes we want to work by looking at performances but also more significantly their engagement in our sport. Being fast is great but if nobody knows about it how can a sponsor find value in working with the athlete. Triathlon is a community, most of which are age group athletes who are part of a club, squad or training group. By working with athletes who are part of a group it’s much easier to create brand awareness by sharing your knowledge of sponsors products to your chosen group. We have partnered with M5 Acedemies and have found a great brand presence through our partnership. It’s not about us telling each other how great we are it’s showing the world, by providing great products so great athletes can do great things.
