2023 Bot Games Challenges?

Challenge 1: Healthcare AI?

The first challenge of Bot Games brought us an intriguing use case centered around AI in Healthcare. In this task, the goal was to leverage the power of AI to analyse doctor’s notes and extract vital patient information, such as their name, height, and blood pressure.??

I was able to devise a solution that demonstrated both remarkable accuracy and incredible speed, allowing me to obtain a competitive time of 34.78 seconds. This score was only bettered by fellow Extra Technology team members Zakk Rockett and Aidan Szczurek who obtained times of 34.20 and 33.80 seconds, respectively. Well done guys!?

This was a great start to the Bot Games challenge for Team Extra Tech and this was capped off by Zakk being named amongst the winners for the challenge!?

Personally, I found this particular use case to be extremely captivating. The ability to extract crucial patient information from doctor’s notes holds immense potential for real-world applications. It is a testament to the transformative power of automation and AI, and I cannot help but envision a future where such Automation cases become an integral part of healthcare systems, enhancing efficiency, accuracy and improving patient care.?

Challenge 2: Shipping Processing?

The second Bot Games challenge brought us to the world of shipment processing, where the objective of this task was to harness AI to convert abbreviated names, commonly found in shipping documents, into their full state names. This information, amongst others, was used to generate tracking numbers for the shipments.?

Team Extra Technology continued to produce top-notch performances once again, and I was able to achieve an impressive time of 10.58 seconds! The time I was able to achieve surpassed all competing teams, showing my ability to rise above challenges and deliver exceptional results.?

In my pursuit for optimisation, I employed a trick where I? used my JavaScript skills to extract the necessary information directly from webpages. This innovative approach proved to be a momentous change, successfully reducing the challenge time.?

This was another interesting challenge from the team at Automation Anywhere, illustrating how Generative AI is used to refine and enhance traditional processes, demonstrating how through combining Automation and AI, you can eliminate the need for look-up tables or cumbersome data handling.?

Challenge 3: Automation Resiliency?

The final challenge of Bot Games really put our skills to the test, highlighting the remarkable capability of Generative AI models in enhancing automation resilience.? This challenge focused on scenarios where target applications undergo updates or changes.? Our mission was to create an automation process that can adapt seamlessly to such changes.?

Despite the increased difficulty, I remained determined, and I was thrilled to have achieved a time of 18.40 seconds with 100% accuracy, successfully navigating through the complexities of the challenge.?

With this accomplishment, I am proud to confirm I completed the 2023 Bot Games Challenge, earning the esteemed Bot Games Trifecta Certificate'. I am proud to have tackled all three challenges, demonstrating not only speed and accuracy but also adaptability and resilience in the face of the ever-evolving automation landscapes.?

As a first-time participant in Bot Games, I found the experience incredibly enjoyable, and I eagerly anticipate future iterations of the event. It has not only provided me with an opportunity to display my newly developed skills but also a platform to challenge myself as a developer.?
