Unleash Your Potential in 2023: 3 Proven Hacks to Crush Your Goals, Even if You've Been Procrastinating Since January

Do you remember the excitement and motivation you felt on January 1st when you set your new year's resolutions? You planned to sign up for the gym, read more, eat healthier, see your parents more often, and maybe even start that side hustle you've been dreaming about. But now, on February 27th, you might be feeling a sense of shame, guilt, and defeat because you haven't even started, let alone accomplished, any of those goals.
So, what went wrong? Is it time blindness? Did you bite off more than you could chew? Or are you simply lacking motivation?
If you can relate to these feelings, you're not alone. Like you, I used to create long lists of resolutions that I hardly achieved or even started. But the good news is, there are simple hacks you can use to overcome procrastination, remove the blame and shame, and start choosing a year filled with positive achievements, self-love, and epic personal and professional growth.
Are you ready to turn things around? Let's dive into these three hacks and crush your goals in 2023!
/// No 1- BUILD YOUR GOALS WITH A DOMINO EFFECT IN MIND
Have you ever seen a domino set, where you hit the first piece and all of a sudden all the rest of the domino falls down?
Well, just like that, you can pick a maximum of 3 areas of your life that will have a ripple effect on everything else. By doing so, you can keep it simple, attainable, and super focused on what really matters. This way, you can shift the dial most effectively and keep your energy flowing to where it will make the biggest impact.
It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of a new year and write down a laundry list of goals. But the problem with this approach is that it can quickly become overwhelming, leading to frustration and eventually giving up altogether. That's why I encourage you to pick just three areas of your life to focus on.
So, what are your three areas? Think carefully and choose wisely. This is a powerful exercise that can have a profound impact on your life. Are you ready to take the next step? Let me show you how.
In the below wheel of life, pick 3 life areas that if chosen will create a significant domino effect in your life. If they are 3 out of 10 but really they need to be 10/10 (100%) to radically change your life, those are the ones you could pick.
Picking these 3 areas should improve your entire life overall.?
For example, if you want to make your first $1M in business by the end of 2023, you could easily pick Money & Wealth as your first one, but for me personally, I know that if was me I would choose to do some work on my Personal Development & Spiritual Growth around my own money beliefs and generational and collective money traumas and beliefs (this is particularly important for the BIPOC community).
Ok so once you have decided on what 3 life areas you would like to focus on, you are going to be as specific as possible on the desired outcomes in that area. This is where your brain will step in so dare to dream big and follow your heart. DO LET YOUR THOUGHTS GO PAST. DO NOT BECOME ATTACHED TO THEM
It's time to open your heart and let your ideas flow freely without self-judgment or limiting beliefs. This is a crucial step, so allow yourself 10-20 minutes to brainstorm. For example, if you choose Emotions & Mindset as one of your focus areas, here are some ideas to get you started:
Congratulations! Completing this exercise takes courage and commitment to your personal growth. Give yourself a big high-five for taking the first step towards manifesting your dreams.
Now it's time to choose one desire from your brainstorm that can make a significant impact and create a domino effect in your chosen life area. Write this goal as if it has already happened, using specific language to make it feel real and tangible.
Below is an example of my Career & Business life area which had the below desires in my personal brain dump
The key here is to pick a domino goal from your list of desires and go from there!
/// No 2 -DECIDE WHO IS THE VERSION OF YOURSELF WHO HAS ALREADY LIVED AND SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVED YOUR GOAL
One of my favourite parts of this process is connecting and aligning with the future version of yourself who has already achieved your goal. This version of you already exists and serves as living proof that your desired outcome is possible. By tapping into this version of yourself, you can make decisions in the present that align with your future self and move away from the limiting beliefs of your past.
To achieve this, imagine the habits, routines, thoughts, feelings, values, and beliefs that this future version of yourself has embodied. Visualize the specific decisions and actions that you take on a daily basis to maintain your success.
To begin, focus on each of your three domino goals. As an example, for my podcasting goal, I wrote down:
"The version of Ale who has already achieved a successful podcast believes she is the channel and bridge into consciousness and her voice is just a tool to achieve her goal.

Launching and growing a podcast is a fun and creative process. Ale is consistent and delegates the tasks she doesn't enjoy. She is consistent because she delegates well and uses her energy accordingly.?
Ale connects daily with her intuition and finds podcast guests with ease. Listeners adore and appreciate Ale for the work she does to help BIPOC and non-English speaking entrepreneurs to release trauma and live fulfilled conscious lives and have thriving businesses.?
Even though podcasting is new for Ale, she is determined, persistent, takes breaks when needed and never gives up on her dream."
Once you complete this step, you then decide for the daily/weekly/monthly/quarter domino actions what your future self does to achieve his/her/their goal. Back to my podcast example:?

Quarter 3
Quarter 4
By setting up domino goals for each quarter, I can ensure that I stay on track and make progress towards my ultimate goal of launching a podcast by March 30th and growing it to 1 million downloads by the end of 2024.?
That's why it's essential for me to connect with the deep desire within my soul to launch this podcast. By embodying the future version of myself that has already achieved this goal, I can stay motivated and delegate tasks that don't excite me, such as editing. This alignment is crucial for me to succeed, and I hope you can experience it too as you go through the steps above.
/// No 3 - START CONNECTING WITH THE ENERGY OF WHAT YOU WHAT, NOT THE ENERGY OF WHAT YOU DON'T WANT
Guilt tripping for nor having yet started on your new year's resolution can be….debilitating!?
Most of our brains are exceptional at bringing to the surface what's not working vs what's working. The key to changing this is when you learn to reframe and control your thoughts and your energy
To start, consciously align yourself with the energy of what you want to achieve. For example, if you want to start a side hustle and leave your 9 to 5 job, you may have negative thoughts and self-talk such as:
What if you could rewire your brain with a single, powerful reframe? Instead of focusing on what you haven't done, you start to focus on what you have accomplished and what you're capable of achieving. So instead of saying things like:?
By reframing your disempowering thoughts and beliefs and aligning them with your desired outcome, you can bring more energy and calm into your life, ultimately balancing your nervous system and maintaining healthy cortisol levels. These steps will help you get closer to achieving your 2023 goals, and I promise they work.
