To Unleash Transformation in Others, Start With Yourself

Last month I was privileged to spend a week with the Robert (Bob) J. Anderson and William A. (Bill) Adams , whose Leadership Circle Assessment "cause and effect" research on Leadership Effectiveness leverages over 470 million data points and counting. Thank you Bob and Bill.

Just as our infinitas team is privileged to accompany successful leaders become measurably better each year, it was my turn to work on my own development. How to contribute even more to the evolution of the conscious practice of leadership?

How to courageously and boundlessly serve the current generation and generations which follow? To open awareness for what is truly possible within myself, and then, like ripples in a pond spreading from the splash of a stone, spread the impact to ever widening circles?

Accompanied by Human Development expert Terri O'Fallon and a dozen curious others, our first cohort of the Unity Academy dove deep into our individual and collective stages of leadership. We learned, practiced, laughed and cried together.

At this point there are more questions than answers swimming in my mind. Thank you for your patience as more clarity emerges.

Developing an understanding and awareness for the stages of human development is a topic which has fascinated thought leaders over thousands of years, from the ancient Greeks to modern day theorists like Bob Kegan and Ken Wilbur. Unity Academy builds on the life work of The Leadership Circle's co-founders to gather, distill, simplify and bring to life the conscious practice of leadership. Conscious leadership is more effective leadership and this is something the world needs more than ever.
