University of Oxford Clarendon Fund
INTRODUCTION
The Clarendon Fund derives its name from its close relationship with Oxford University Press (OUP) and in honour of an act of philanthropy by the Earl of Clarendon. Alongside OUP, Clarendon receives a lot of support from the many of Oxford’s colleges, academic divisions and departments, University trust funds, and external partners. Known as?Partnership Awards, this collaboration allows the costs to be spread between multiple sources enabling additional fully-funded scholarships to be awarded, and providing over £8.9m per year to the Fund.
ELIGIBILITY
There are no restrictions by nationality or country of ordinary residence. Clarendon scholars come from across the world: from the USA to Australia, Venezuela to Vietnam and from Norway to Nigeria.?The student needs to demonstrate the following:

Typically, these scholarships are extended for the entire duration during which you are responsible for University tuition fees, aligning with the length of your course.
HOW TO APPLY
If you submit an application for a full- or part-time master’s or DPhil program at Oxford by the December or January deadline for your specific course, you will automatically be in the running for a Clarendon Scholarship. There is no need to provide any additional documents specifically for the Clarendon Scholarships, as there is no separate application form for this award.
However, it is crucial to ensure that your application is submitted before the December or January deadline (5 or 19 January 2024) for your course if you wish to be considered for the scholarship.
