UOG Women's Soccer Stays Unbeaten But Ties With Venue Slay 0-0
The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team stayed unbeaten on Sunday at the Guam Football Association's National Training Center but had to settle with a 0-0 tie with the Venue Slay team in the GFA Amateur Women's League.
The match was a defensive struggle but both teams had opportunities to score and Venue Slay had more shots on goal than the Lady Tritons. but the UOG squad did miss a couple of one on one chances with the Slay goalkeeper.
UOG is now 9-0-1 while Venue Slay is 7-2-1. The third and final 5 match cycle of the Amateur League schedule begins next Sunday as the Tritons play the Lady Bombers for the third time at 3:30pm.
