UOG Men's Basketball Signs Brandon Soriano To Letter of Intent and Scholarship To Play For Tritons In 2019-20

The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team signed Father Duenas Memorial School basketball player Brandon Soriano to a 2019-20 UOG Athletic Letter of Intent and partial tuition scholarship to play for the Tritons.

Soriano was a 1st Team All-Island basketball player for the Friars in 2019 and the 5'10", 190 pound forward helped lead FD to three top 4 finishes the last three seasons in the IIAAG playoffs.

The forward scored 10 points per game with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per outing for his senior season.

He was 1st Team All-Island as a tight end in football, a 2nd Team All-Island performer in boys volleyball as a middle blocker.

He won Bronze Medals twice with the youth National Teams for Guam at the U15 and U17 levels.

He also was a 3rd Honors program academic winner at FDMS as well.

The UOG basketball team is coming off a 5-18 season in 2018-19 but has reloaded their roster for 2019-20 and will begin play in the Triton Men's Basketball League on October 14th, the tip-off for the "Live" PBS Guam TV coverage of the Triton Men's Basketball team for the fall of 2019.
