University of Gloucestershire Workshop

University of Gloucestershire Workshop

Quattro recognises the importance of supporting the future of architecture, which is why we’re proud of our relationship with the University of Gloucestershire. Colm Coyle, one of our talented Senior Associates, recently visited the University to provide a masterplanning workshop to architecture students. He was thrilled to see so many fresh and exciting ideas on urban design, with the workshop focussing on Colm evaluating projects the students were working on as part of their degree.

Colm was particularly impressed with how the students evaluated the requirements of the task, and how this informed their initial design ideas. Despite being under a lot of pressure with submission deadlines, the students all had passionate views and opinions on the site proposal, with concept sketches discussed during the workshop.?

Colm could clearly see the level of skill and dedication each of the students possess, saying:

It’s great to see there is plenty of architectural potential coming up through the University of Gloucestershire, one of them being a colleague of mine within Quattro’s housing team! It is clear the future of architecture in Gloucestershire is in good hands, and it was a pleasure being able to help the students with their studies.”??
