University of Edinburgh Playfair Library
Hi everyone following on from my last post I wanted to show you how the final images at the University of Edinburgh Playfair Library turned out.
For those that are interested I shot the images of the Playfair Library on my Nikon D850 which is capable of producing whopping 45+ mega pixel images with a resolution of 8251x5505 pixels. Using a high resolution camera like the Nikon D850 is very important as I strive to provide my clients with images of the highest quality which are pin sharp and full of detail.
When shooting an interior like the Playfair Library I would always set out to capture the classic one point perspective which put emphasis on the symmetry of the space. If an image works in landscape format and portrait format I will shoot both as this gives a great deal of flexibility in providing Panoramic landscape and square crops!
In the next few images I would like to illustrate how creative cropping can enhance/alter the dynamics of an image.
