The Aggregate Ranking of Top Universities (ARTU) is a league table based on the annual World University Rankings by?Times Higher Education (THE)?,?Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)?and?Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
The full 2021 ARTU results are listed here.
ARTU consolidates the performance of universities across these rankings to accommodate for performance variations due to methodological differences between these rankings, and thus facilitates the longitudinal comparison of overall performance for the top universities in the world.
Based on these consolidated performance metrics, the University of Bern has been ranked among the top 100 universities in the world, at rank 98, mirroring the 2020 ARTU ranking results.
I extend my warmest congratulations to all Bern colleagues whose fine work resulted once more in this fabulous accomplishment.
