Universidad Austral in Pilar

The Faculty of Biomedical Sciences (FCB), located on the campus of the Universidad Austral in Pilar, has as its main objectives the stimulation of research and training of health professionals, with a strong scientific, technical and human imprint. In its academic activity, the FCB promotes an ethical view of respect for human life and for people.

To achieve these objectives, the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences has a Medical School (with its undergraduate degree and several postgraduate degrees, eight of them as Medical Specialties associated with medical residences, three Masters and doctorate), a School of Nursing (with his degree, Specialization in Neonatal Nursing and Specialization in Nursing Oncology); and the School of Psychology (with his degree course).

All accredited by the National Commission for Evaluation and University Accreditation (CONEAU). In addition, it has an Applied Basic Research Center, a Clinical Research Unit, an Institutional Evaluation Committee, a Research Advisory and Promotion Unit, a Department of Bioethics, a Department of Biomedical Education, a Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Management and Health Economics (CEGES) with its Specialization in Management and Management of Health Institutions, also with the corresponding accreditation from CONEAU, a Postgraduate Department , a Graduate Department, a Library and a Health Post located in Derqui, Pilar.
