The UTT scratch voucher that will be used to recharge airtime for any network (MTN, Airtel and Zamtel) in Zambia. UTT Founder and CEO said that the Universal Talk Time is not a competitor to Mobile Operators in Zambia but a partner. He said the UTT scratch voucher has been designe
d to reduce the shortage of airtime scratch vouchers and reduce stock outs by vendors. He further said the project took five years as it required consultation with all operators and getting views from subscribers.
Mr Chisha UTT aims at putting the power to decide in which network to recharge the Airtime in the hands of the subscribers thereby giving them a whole new experience and control.
To recharge using UTT scratch vouchers subscribers will have to dial * 188 * PINCODE #.
Mr Chisha noted that vendors selling airtime face a lot of challenges handling various denominations of airtime for different mobile operators thereby creating accountability challenges.
Mr Chisha said the new scratch vouchers will eliminate many challenges like frequent stock outs whilst at the same time increasing revenue.
He further stated that vendors selling airtime will realize how hustle free selling UTT scratch vouchers is, coupled with increased sales as it is a preferred voucher to the tradition ones that are only able to recharge one network. He also said UTT will have its own call center where subscribers could call for queries.
Speaking earlier, UTT Executive Chairman Mukela Mukela says the company has targeted to create about 300 jobs in the next two years.
Mr. Mukela says UTT scratch cards will be able to top up any of the three mobile phone service providers sim cards namely MTN, AIRTEL and ZAMTEL.

6 年Their service has been a pathetic experience for me. I regret the day I bought their talk time. For a whole month, their system has been "under maintenance", which brings me to wonder whether they are genuine or just wanting to steal people's money. Anyway, my lesson has been learnt and I will never buy or recommend their product to anyone.
