The Effector Program of Human CD8 T Cells Supports Tissue Remodeling

A recent study from Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy shows that activated CD8 T cells secrete a ligand for the epidermal growth factor receptor and thus prime epithelial cells for enhanced regeneration potential. The researchers used TissueFAXS i PLUS system for endpoint analysis and StrataQuest-based Organoid App to asses the influence of immune cells on organoid growth.

Analysis of Organoid and Immune Cell Co-Cultures by Image Cytometry

3D organoids offer an incredibly useful tool to enhance our understanding of the intra- and inter-cellular mechanisms within tissues for medical research. The recently launched StrataQuest Organoid App is able to autonomously identify organoids and quantify their count, dimensions, and density within co-cultures involving immune cells using machine-learning algorithms.

eRaDicate: Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network

The eRaDicate project was launched to test novel nuclear-receptor targeting drugs as anti-cancer agents, such as the retinoic acid receptor (RAR) and the vitamin D receptor (VDR) using a variety of molecular biology methods. TissueGnostics is the official industry beneficiary of the project. The recruitment of future PhD students is planned soon.
