The UNITERS Group Team Celebrates Customer Service Week 2019
What exactly is National Customer Service Week, you ask? It is a week dedicated to recognizing the importance of those who work in customer support throughout the year. It is celebrated during the first full week of October, established by the International Customer Service Association (ICSA) in 1984. Congress then proclaimed it a national event in 1992, officially recognizing the importance of Customer Service teammates within companies nationwide.
Each year Customer Service Week features a different theme. This year’s theme was “The Magic of Service.” Giving guests a magical experience can turn a one-time customer into a lifetime partner. Great customer service can magically transform a frustrated guest into a new client. UNITERS consistently trains and focuses on improving Customer eXperience. We strive to provide consistency, transparency, and accessibility to our industry partners as well as the end consumer.
Quality customer service and an exceptional eXperience is a top priority at UNITERS and this week was a great opportunity to celebrate our teammates that deliver” The Magic”. Teammates were provided with special snacks and fun games throughout the week. All three UNITERS locations (distribution centers in Greensboro, NC, and Reno, NV, along with our corporate offices in West Palm Beach, Florida) participated. We also hosted multiple spirit days with varying themes to add creativity and fun. Collaboratively we work together to ensure that not only do our partners have a great experience with UNITERS, but our team is happy to be a part of that journey.
